Since 2008, Advanced Network Consulting has been taking care of all IT related needs for Neighbor Works OC (Formerly Neighborhood Housing OC), located in the City of Orange, a non-profit serving the housing needs of individuals and families. We were initially brought in to resolve misc network reliability issues. Over the past 4 years we have replaced all the servers and upgraded the desktop computers.
ANC has transitioned the NHS network from a Windows 2003 Domain to a Windows 2008 R2 Domain, Cleaning up the Active Directory schema and structure in the process. We have replaced the old Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server with Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server, Deployed Outlook Anywhere, Outlook Web Access, as well as Active Sync supporting IPhone and Android smart phones.
In 2010 NHS received funding for a new program and opened a second office. Advanced Network consulting preformed the network cabling for the new office as well as coordinated the telephone and internet service. In conjunction with the new office opening, Advanced Network Consulting brought in a VIOP partner and transitioned NHS main office to a VOIP phone system. As part of the VOIP deployment, the main office firewall was upgraded as well as the internet service.”
For the new office ANC purchased all the Desktop computers, laptops, server, Firewall and network equipment. ANC designed and deployed a Site-to-site VPN for the new office to the main office.
In 2012 we assisted NHS with moving to a new facility and consolidating the two offices into one. We worked with the contractors to ensure a smooth transition. ANC installed all the network cabling for the VOIP phone system and the data network. We installed Secure office wide wireless as well as installing 3 60” TV’s and one 32” TV, projectors, integrated sound and presenter stations in a meeting room, board room and the MPR/Training room.
We continue to provide monthly support and maintenance and project planning as NHS continues to grow and expand the services that they provide.
